Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Part-Time)

Since 2007, Miami Pet Concierge has been one of Miami’s most trusted in-home pet care providers. We provide professional dog walking, cat care, pet sitting, and overnight services throughout:

Coral Gables
Coconut Grove
South Miami
Pinecrest
Palmetto Bay
and nearby neighborhoods.

Our team is known for reliability, professionalism, and exceptional attention to detail.

Important Location Requirement

Because our services are performed in our clients’ homes, applicants should live in or very near our service areas .

Ideal candidates live in or near:

Coral Gables
South Miami
Coconut Grove
Pinecrest
Palmetto Bay
Dadeland
East Kendall

Schedule Availability

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling between visits .

Our biggest current needs are:

• Weekday afternoons (approximately 12PM–6PM)
• Weekends

Applicants with availability during these times are especially encouraged to apply , though other availability may also work as schedules evolve.

What the Job Involves

This role is much more than simply walking dogs.

Our team members are trusted professionals responsible for both pets and client homes.

Responsibilities include:

• Walking dogs for 30 to 60 minutes
• Feeding pets and refreshing water
• Cleaning litter boxes and food bowls
• Picking up and properly disposing of dog waste
• Administering medications when required
• Locking homes and managing alarm systems
• Sending updates and photos to clients

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be 18+ years old
• Have a reliable automobile and auto insurance
• Have a smartphone with camera and data
• Communicate fluently in English
• Be physically able to walk dogs and climb stairs
• Be comfortable working outdoors in Miami weather
• Be dependable and detail-oriented
• Be able to commit to the position for at least 9 months

Previous pet care experience is a plus but not required.
