Job Title: CDL Independent Driver.
Classification: 1099 Contractor.
Reports To: Transportation Manager.
Position Type: As needed.
Work Schedule: varies.
Work Location: 100% travel.
Pay: per mile,per diem+ expenses.
Job Summary: The CDL Independent Contractor transports empty passenger vehicles to clients, both near and far. The CDL driver is responsible for following DOT guidelines while operating the passenger vehicles being delivered to customers across the country. There is no forced dispatch, be your own boss and travel around the country, within the confines of the DOT guidelines and requirements.
